There’s no doubt that God called us to Houston. But if He had told us, “You’ll be homeless for 500 days in the US and have only My provision, My manna,” we probably wouldn’t have said yes. Yet that’s the beauty of walking with God, when you obey without knowing the details. In Houston, He teaches you lessons no university could ever offer.

In Houston, God revealed three powerful truths about walking closely with Him.

 

1️⃣ To live from God, not just for God.
Living for God is about striving, performing, and religion. Living from God is about rest, relationship, and intimacy, letting His presence be our source.

2️⃣ To live all in, not 99.9%.
Either He’s Lord of all or not Lord at all. Full surrender releases His full power. When He said “do”, Just do it. When He has not called us, we wait on Him!

 

3️⃣ To live by His Word despite opposition.
Walking under His authority invites distractions, resistance, and opposition, but also the strength and peace that come only from trusting Him completely.
